Biography
THERAPY BIOGRAPHY
Michela Montrasio was born in Monza (Mi) on the 20/8/1960. She graduated in Literature with a thesis on the history of medieval art and worked, since 2002 until 2009, as a co-coordinator for the High School at the San Gerardo Hospital of Monza (Pediatrics hematology department). Nowadays she teaches at the Lyceum "Carlo Porta" in Monza.
She trained in DANCE/MOVEMENT THERAPY with Elena Cerruto of the Sarabanda Centre in Milan (A four year course – Method FUX ) with a thesis on the use of DMT with women operated for breast cancer. In addition she underwent a further four year course with Dott.ssa Paola de Vera d’Aragona of the ’Institute Riza of Milano ( – Dance movement therapy in a symbolic key ).Later she attended a refresher course for dance therapy financed by the European Social Fund at the Sarabanda Training school.
She is a member of the Association APID (Italian Professional Association of Dance movement therapy.).

She has trained also in CALIFONIAN MASSAGE and LEMNISCATE with dott. Luciano Jolly at the Study centre of natural therapies in Bobbio, in LYMPH DRAINAGE at the school of reflexology Zu of Milan, MYO FACIAL MASSAGE and CONNECTIVE at the Corporea Institute of Bologna. She trained trained in PLANTAR REFLEXOLOGY (a four year course) at the Zu school of Milan.
She has collaborated as a volunteer with the Day centre San Pietro di Monza (2005), as a masseuse for Parkinson’s disease patients. Since 2005 until 2009 she has carried out her activity as a masseuse at the Centre of Physiotherapy– Monza.
